Great interview! Letterers deserve their fair share of the credit. If they are important enough to be on the team then they should be important enough to pay fair and credit appropriately.
Otherwise everyone would leave them out. But they don't because it is an essential part of a comic. So compensate essentially. It doesn't make sense to not empower people that are literally 'telling' your story.
